  9.           ppmpat - make a pretty pixmap

  11.      SYNOPSIS
  12.           ppmpat -gingham2|-g2|-gingham3| -g3|-madras|-tartan| -
  13.           poles|-squig|-camo| -anticamo width height

  15.      DESCRIPTION
  16.           Produces a portable pixmap of the specified width and
  17.           height, with a pattern in it.
  18.  
  19.           This program is mainly to demonstrate use of the ppmdraw
  20.           routines, a simple but powerful drawing library.  See the
  21.           ppmdraw.h include file for more info on using these
  22.           routines.  Still, some of the patterns can be rather pretty.
  23.           If you have a color workstation, something like ppmpat
  24.           -squig 300 300 | ppmquant 128 should generate a nice
  25.           background.

  27.      OPTIONS
  28.           The different flags specify various different pattern types:

  30.           -gingham2
  31.                A gingham check pattern.  Can be tiled.
  32.  
  33.           -gingham3
  34.                A slightly more complicated gingham.  Can be tiled.
  35.  
  36.           -madras
  37.                A madras plaid.  Can be tiled.
  38.  
  39.           -tartan
  40.                A tartan plaid.  Can be tiled.
  41.  
  42.           -poles
  43.                Color gradients centered on randomly-placed poles.  May
  44.                need to be run through ppmquant.
  45.  
  46.           -squig
  47.                Squiggley tubular pattern.  Can be tiled.  May need to
  48.                be run through ppmquant.
  49.  
  50.           -camo
  51.                Camouflage pattern.  May need to be run through
  52.                ppmquant.
  53.  
  54.           -anticamo
  55.                Anti-camouflage pattern - like -camo, but ultra-bright
  56.                colors.  May need to be run through ppmquant.
  57.  
  58.           All flags can be abbreviated to their shortest unique
  59.           prefix.
